I started the day with a migraine and it just went downhill after that. The fact that it was too hot to be outside, and both air-conditioners (very noisy) ran most of the day, didn't help.
Pat and I don't share the same RV philosophy. He is "living" in the RV, and I am just always "on vacation." According to other RV couples, my philosophy should have changed by now. Pat would rather sit and, if things weren't affected by Covid, I would rather sightsee every day. When I've seen everything I want to, I'm done.
I bring this up because we leave here near the end of the month and have to decide where to go for July. We have plans in August that start out from Iowa so we just need a place in July, not far from Iowa, no Covid outbreaks, no rioting, cooler, and with outdoor things I can go see (like a month's worth). We have fought over this all day and are no closer to a decision!
Stay cool!!
Start and finish in Upper Peninsula of Michigan. In between circle Lake Superior.
ReplyDeleteI dont think Pat wants to go that far. We have to be back at Chris' later in July to empty RV for it's 2 week stay at Thor.
DeleteThanks Linda. I'm use to the migraines. I've gone from what seemed like continual migraines, to just 3 or 4 a month. They are just annoying.
ReplyDeleteHow about Colorado or Wyoming? Mountain areas will be cooler and they are only 2 days from Iowa. Or the Black Hills in your state of residence?
ReplyDeleteGood ideas but too far right now. I think we are going to head up towards MN or MI since we'll be starting from the east side of IA and returning there.
