I always think about the saying, "Things always seem to get worse before they get better." I think I like this one better, "It may get worse before it gets better, but it always gets better." Whereas I hope those sayings apply to our country right now (the getting better part), they also apply to me today!
First day of PT yesterday and first day of myofascial release today. I don't really believe in "no pain, no gain," but do I hurt today? Yep! I have done my exercises and walked 1.5 miles morning and night though. I believe my Mom was right, that you just have to "push through it," at least a lot of the time. It's worth a shot if it prevents back surgery.
Boston dinner tonight. A little space talk, as in outer-space. Also got a preview of a borrowed, GIANT playstructure, complete with slide that Zia is assembling in Cyrus's room. It's only part of the whole structure, but it looks like it could fill his room. He has 12' ceilings and it goes to the top! It will take a while to complete. We didn't get a good picture on the computer as we were outside and had sun glare. I will have them take a picture I can share, as it is really cool!
Hot today and humid!🌡 Going to be worse tomorrow. In fact, the rest of the week is going to be toasty. We have two roof air conditioners but they work pretty hard on days like this.
One of my favorite restaurants reopened today in KC. I'm not divulging it's name yet. Not sure the first week will be a good time for curbside. Maybe at an off hour, or just wait another week?
I don't enjoy PT much either. It takes a lot of time and I have not met with much success in the past. I'm giving it a good shot though. We didn't have any rain.
