Fixes and Fails - Fire pit

There is nothing better than sitting around a campfire on those cool nights, but it is not any fun having all your clothes smell like smoke.

Our neighbors in Galveston, Craig and Glen, had a small propane fire pit, so we decided we needed one too.  Craig said we should get one with a locking lid, so after a lot of research, we found this one:

It is only 15", but puts out a lot of heat and easily fits in our storage.

It had a fairly short hose, so I bought this extension:

Which let's us put the propane tank close to 20' away.

These fire pits have lava rock, which makes a nice warm flame, but the lava rocks can also create a lot of dust, so we also bought a cover.  The problem is, Fire Sense does not sell a cover for this pit.

After a lot of looking and comparing sizes, we bought this cover, which is a perfect fit.
