Welcome home Piepers, welcome home!

Happy Mother's Day to all Mom's out there.  My Mom died in 2014 and not one single day goes by that I don't think about her!  I'm grateful to be able to wish a Happy Mother's Day to my mother-in-law, Mary.

Today we entered Missouri.  Not to diminish the state I was born in, Iowa (my birth state), but I consider Missouri my home state.  It's where I have spent most of my adult life and where we raised our family.  So, it felt like we were home, or as close as I get to a home, when we crossed the border.

Tonight we are at another Harvest Host, Keltoi Winery in Onogondo, MO.  It's just us and one other RV.  Another coincidence, the lady in the RV is heading to a quilting retreat in Hamilton, MO this week.  My friend Debbie and I are planning to meet at Missouri Star quilting in Hamilton on the 15th.

This was another very welcoming Harvest Host.  We were greeted by Molly, who I assumed belonged to the winery owners, but no, just a neighbor's dog that spends a lot of time here.  They had various spots to enjoy a glass of wine, inside, screened porch, outside, down by the pond...  It is a beautiful setting and the breeze felt so good.

We did a little wine tasting and Pat purchased a couple of his favorites.  I decided to take a black cherry wine slushy back to the RV and, according to Pat, I "made" him get a glass of wine.  We didn't have a very good morning☹ so we needed some cheer, along with some cheese (we had plenty of whine this morning).  I also bought a bottle of the Irish Moondrops to make our own slushies.

Storms tonight and colder tomorrow.
