Courtesy of SpaceX, Cameron County, and Isla Blanca RV Park we were treated to two drone Christmas shows Saturday night. Food trucks, entertainment and kids activities were all in the line-up. If you haven't been to a drone show before it's like fireworks but instead uses drone to light up the night sky. It was AMAZING! Each show was different. We watched the first one from the ampitheater area and the second one from near our RV site.

Look at the tentacle on that Portuguese man 'o war. The tentacles can grow to over 30' and stretch to 100'. |
This man 'o war had the pink as well as the blue color. They don't swim but instead use the wind and ocean currents to propel their balloon shape through the water. |

SpaceX had a road closure this past week and moved a Super Heavy Starship near the launch pad. The Super Heavy Booster is still at the main building area. We're not hopeful for a launch while we're here.

If you live on South Padre Island a "sandman" is about as close as you'll get to a "snowman." |
Sun. We went on a 7 - 7 1-2 mile walk, up the beach, over to the Sandcastle Village, and back to the RV. Sandcastle designs can be found all over the island. |
Needed to refresh midway.
The Sandcastle Village is always worth a visit. Some displays are the same, but new ones are added each year.
